  • Interpret the national data on foodborne illness in light of what is typically seen by poison centers
  • Evaluate the risk to the public from various food contamination sources
  • Apply knowledge of current food safety guidelines and resources to actively promote the use of poison control centers for food poisoning-related concerns
  • Develop a plan for inclusion of food safety education into existing poison prevention programming
